The Cynical Recess - Let there be change

The Cynical RecessTHE CYNICAL RECESS

The Cynical Recess was formed in December 2008 and it comprises of a bunch of talented musicians across the city that culminates into one genre of music.

LET THERE BE CHANGE - being the tag line of the project, the sound of the band can be described as hard rock with a blend of alternative feel. The Cynical Recess believes that their sound is different from the plethora of cacophony in the scenario right now and the world will also abide by it we progress. Lyrically the band mainly stresses on awareness issues which the human race is reluctant to retaliate against, such as global warming, HIV aids, war etc. From our tunes we try to send a message to the hearts of the listeners about what is to be done and why? We believe harmony and melody is the pioneer of heart to heart communication and it is a never ending process. Thus with this motive we are venturing forward to conquer hearts of millions across the nation and the globe.

There are differences between differences. Every effective difference denotes a demarcation, a line of classification, and all classification is hierarchic. In other words differences are themselves to be differentiated and classified. Difference which occurs across time is what we call "change."

Hence, Let there be Change.
