Joy Guha - Pulling The Right Chords

Joy GuhaLadies and Gentlemen, Presenting Joy Guha, a talent from Kolkata, who is pulling all the right chords to receive an ovation from the audience. A star already in his own field, Joy is getting noticed by the right people and has been getting into the right musical circles and senior musicians have been showering upon him with their blessings. Let Joy tell us his story ...

I was born in Calcutta in 1976.  My family is a very musical one.  All of my family members were associated with either any form of music or dance.  Both my father and my mother were singers; my elder sister was a dancer.  Moreover, there is not even a single family of my relatives from which at least one of the family members is not an artist.  Being born and brought up in such a family, I really did not need any kind of influence to get into music, rather it was a very natural thing to me to be with music, and it never felt that music was something extracurricular; it was rather a daily routine job in our family.
