God Is An Astronaut, a band playing Ambient/Electronic/Rock/Shoegaze music was officially formed in 2002 by brothers Torsten and Niels hailing from the Glen of the Downs, Co. Wicklow, Ireland. Both Torsten and Niels have been writing and playing music since the early 90's. The band released their debut album "The End of the Beginning" in late 2002, under their label, Revive Records. The album consisted of 11 tracks, most notably "The End of the Beginning" and "From Dust to the Beyond". These videos received rotation on MTV's “120 minute show” in both the U.K. and Europe.
